My writings

I've been writing for years. Writing for myself, for pleasure, for fun... the way I feel it should be. My poems are what mean the most to me, though; they're my emotion and memory surviving the years.

I've written poetry with no limits placed on style or feel, but end up grouping them according to those factors. I have The Book of Exile, a well crafted collection of all my poems that don't fit into the second collection- known as The Violent Things. It's all those darker emotions, the anger and hate and jealousy and other emotions we try to keep inside, out of public eye. Excerpts from both books, along with other writings, can be found here.

HONOR

Death walking the street
bare heart bare feet
smile frozen like sleet
something Godly inside
good and pure hide
and pray that day died
for I hold my honor
for I hold it high
for I live my honor
for my honor I die
I have honor
and all the things good and pure
will not come burning out
honor is a crime
honor is a cardinal sin
honor is a fatal sentence
and above all honor is death
death walking the street.
